yes, sorry about having to do this, my reasons are not that different than kano's actually, I need to get some paying work done, and I can't afford the time and complexity trying to create dual solutions would require, and the testing.
Anyway, I didn't want to cut it off, but today I realized I had to if I wanted to move forwards and have enough time/energy to also work to pay my bills.

The script is a great piece of work and I appreciate the work you've done. Thank you. Hopefully, someone else can modify it to work with the new Kanotix.

So... I don't quite get what's happening with Kanotix... Are we switching to an Ubuntu base?
It's not a horrible idea if we do I guess, as it will allow Kano and others to free up their time - and hopefully to innovate in other ways also - and to improve where possible on Ubuntu. (Although I do hope we stick with KDE).
I'm not sure how I feel about Ubuntu - I never have known what to make of it, or Mark Shuttleworth - other than that he is extremely competitive - but I guess at least it is a solution that will allow Kano to get on with his life.
Just so long as we can keep the great features that made Kanotix what it is over these last few years, I have no significant objections if such a change is made.
